8月1日，中國銀行董事長葛海蛟在中國銀行總行大廈會見來訪的澳大利亞福德士河集團執(zhí)行主席安德魯·福瑞斯特一行，進一步探索在推動人民幣國際化、構(gòu)建綠色鋼鐵產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈等領域的合作機會。中國銀行副行長武劍參加會談。

雙方一致表示，將在人民幣債券、跨境人民幣、重點項目融資等領域持續(xù)加強互動，共同為促進綠色低碳轉(zhuǎn)型發(fā)展、深化中澳雙邊經(jīng)貿(mào)合作作出更多貢獻。

Chairman Ge Haijiao Meets with Dr. Andrew Forrest, the Executive Chairman of Fortescue Ltd

On August 1, Ge Haijiao, Chairman of Bank of China Limited, met with Dr. Andrew Forrest, the Executive Chairman of Fortescue Ltd, at the Bank’s Head Office in Beijing. They discussed further cooperation opportunities in areas including promoting the internationalization of RMB and building a green steel industry chain. Wu Jian, Executive Vice President of Bank of China Limited, also attended the meeting.

Both sides agreed to work more closely on RMB bonds, cross-border RMB use, and project financing, thereby contributing more to the green and low-carbon transition as well as higher-quality China-Australia cooperation on trade and investment.
