Introduction

Bank of China Taobao Campus Card is a co-branded bank card product tailored for college students. It is jointly provided by Bank of China Limited, Taobao and Alipay under the Alibaba Group.This product boasts many unique functions and services including interest on deposits, no handling fee charged for deposits and withdrawals within the same province (municipality), electronic statements and online shopping. Customers can log on Taobao.com to activate the Katong payment function to receive a Taobao VIP Diamond card free of charge and enjoy Taobao's top-grade membership privileges. Bank of China Taobao Campus Crd will accompany customers throughout the campus life!

Functions

Bank of China Taobao Campus card is a UnionPay RMB card under international standards without overdraft function. Bank of China Taobao Campus card provides the core functions and services of Bank of China's bankcards, including shopping global UnionPay network partners, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and inquiries at ATMs, online banking services, optional shopping with password, SMS notice of transactions, zero risk of loss reporting, large-sum transaction confirmation and preferential merchants.

Features

1. Special preferences in "My Place"

Customers can set any province or municipality in China as "My Place", in which customers do not have to pay any handling fees for deposit, withdrawal or transfer over the counter or ATMs of Bank of China.

2. Interest on deposits enabling profits with ease

The deposits in customer's card will generate interest calculated based on the current savings interest rate in the same period, which offers both interest income and shopping convenience.

3. Electronic statements

In the modern trend of environmental protection, college students can be the trendsetter. Bank of China Taobao Campus card provides statements only in electronic form to save paper resources.

4. Online shopping

Bank of China Taobao Campus card has the online shopping functions of the Bank of China Taobao Credit Card, including Katong payment, Diamond VIP, reward points and the like, making online shopping more convenient.

Target Customers

Any college students aged 18 or older and with full capacity for civil conduct can apply for Bank of China Taobao Campus card. Currently, we only accept applications of college students holding resident ID cards or temporary resident ID cards, and do not accept applications of customers holding military ID cards, passports, Home Return Permits, Taiwan Compatriot Entry Permits or other documents for the time being.

Required Documents

Copies of valid resident ID cards or temporary resident ID cards (both front and back sides) as well as copies of applicants' student ID cards (showing admission date) or letters of admission.

Please print both the inside page and back page after downloading the application form. After filling out the form, please make sure to sign customer's name on both pages. Customers can submit the application form to a Bank of China counter or post it to: P.O. Box 808, Beijing 100037.
