Introduction
Bonds distribution refers to the business that our bank transfers underwritten bonds during their issuance period to other market participants. Bonds distribution fall into several categories including book-entry T-bonds, policy-related financial bonds and bonds from other issuers in the inter-bank markets.
Features
Customers purchase bonds directly from the primary market and thus simplifying the purchase procedure of the secondary market. The product is a well balance between capital returns, safety and liquidity.
Target Customers
Bonds distribution is open to all inter-bank market members except those prohibited by issuers, including:
1. Depository institutions: rural credit cooperatives, local commercial banks, local branches of national commercial banks, and foreign funded banks;
2. Other institutions: fund companies, insurance companies, trust companies, securities companies, corporate annuity companies;
3. Type C account of financial and non-financial institutions opened in our bank;
4. Type C account in other banks: those of financial and non-financial institutions.
Application Qualifications
1. Our bank's Inter-bank Bond Settlement Agency Account (Type C);
2. Bond Settlement Agency Account (Type C) of other banks.
Process
1. Open an account. The customer submits account opening materials to China Government Securities Depository Trust & Clearing Co. Ltd in accordance with its Regulations on Opening and Cancellation of Bond Custody Accounts and opens a bond custody account in line with the real-name registration system.
2. Sign a subscription agreement.
3. Bidding.
4. Sign a bonds distribution agreement.
5. Payment and transfer of bonds distribution. On the same day of paying for the bonds, the customer should transfer money to our bank's account for bonds distribution. After our bank confirms receipt of the money, we will conduct the transfer transaction.
